How the frut Safety Score works
The frut Safety Score (0–10) tells you how safe and fair a casino licensed in Greece looked in our own tests. It is built only from the HGC public register and what we checked ourselves. No casino can pay for a better score, and commercial terms are never an input — our build checks this automatically.
When a casino gets a score
A casino gets a score only after our own clause-by-clause terms check and at least one timed support test. Until then its page says “Not yet tested” and shows the licence details from the HGC register — never an estimated score.
A real-money withdrawal test is optional for now. When a casino has one, the Withdrawals sub-score counts in the overall score. When it does not, that sub-score shows “Not yet tested” and is left out; the other weights are scaled up proportionally.
The four sub-scores
Licence & ownership (30% of the overall score). From the HGC register: only casinos with a valid, unexpired online-casino licence that lists their website have a page at all (7.0 points). The licence holder’s legal entity is named in the register: +1.5. Months of validity left on the licence, up to 12: up to +1.5. The register does not publish when a licence was first issued, so “time licensed” is not scored yet.
Withdrawals — tested (30%, when tested). For each of our withdrawals, from the request to the money in our account: up to 12 hours 10 · up to 24 hours 9 · up to 48 hours 7.5 · up to 72 hours 6 · up to 5 days 4 · slower 2 · never received 0. Each problem we hit (for example documents requested again after approval) takes off 1.5. We keep our own screenshots as receipts.
Terms fairness (25%). We read the terms and conditions clause by clause. Each point is “fair” or “read carefully”: score = 10 × (fair + half of “read carefully”) ÷ points checked.
Support (15%). We contact support ourselves and time it. Half the score is reply speed (up to 2 minutes 10 · up to 10 minutes 8.5 · up to 1 hour 7 · up to 24 hours 5 · slower 3 · no reply 0), half the quality of the answer (1–5, doubled).
The overall score is the weighted average of the sub-scores available, rounded to one decimal.
What never affects the score
Offers, bonuses, commissions, affiliate deals, how often a casino is clicked or anything else commercial. Rankings and scores on frut.gr are never for sale. See “Licensed casinos” for every casino licensed by the HGC.
Keep it safe
